Miss HJ’s Beadwork
Melissa Hachey-Jagoe is an Indigenous Acadian artist born and raised in Mi'kma'ki (Bathurst, NB) and a band member of Timiskaming First Nation, Quebec. She uses beads and porcupine quills to create original pieces such as earrings, pins, medallions and regalia accessories. You can find Melissa with her beaded and quilled artwork at a local powwow and various Indigenous-led events. She is also passionate about exploring custom orders with those seeking something unique to represent their creative vision or journey.
